Bloekomhuis Self Catering Smithfield

Bloekomhuis Self Catering Smithfield is an old-fashion house situated in the little town of Smithfield, amid the Savanna country and on a national road. The house consists of three bedrooms, a private bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room and a lounge area.

Nestled in the Maluti Mountains, the incredible fresh air, star-lit evenings, peaceful surroundings and sleepy ambiance are all reasons to visit this place. Smithfield has bushmen paintings on the hills around town and numerous opportunities for hiking and mountain biking on the local roads and foothills.

Artists reside in many of the older homes in Smithfield, a number of which are national monuments, which adds yet another dimension to the historical town, founded in 1848. The town has a sense of open space and access to nature, mountains and water. Both the Orange River and the Gariep Dam are nearby, with a distinct possibility of snow during winter.
